Red Hawk Academy

Red Hawk Academy is one of Arizona's premier martial arts training facilities and a proud training home for the athletes and coaches supported by our organization. Founded in 2019 by head coach Tim Welch, Red Hawk has grown into a 12,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in the Phoenix West Valley — and a proven launchpad for champions.

Tim Welch is widely recognized as one of the sharpest minds in combat sports. His most celebrated athlete, "Suga" Sean O'Malley, rose to become one of the most popular and recognizable fighters in the UFC — a testament to what elite coaching and the right environment can produce. Behind Sean, Tim is developing the next wave: a talented group of young fighters in that same weight class, quietly working their way toward the world stage.

Among the athletes already training at Red Hawk are Forrest Molinari — 4x World Team member and 2x USA Team member — and Jacori Teamer — 4x All-American out of Arizona State University's wrestling program. They arrive with the kind of foundation that can't be taught: the toughness, pressure, and relentless work ethic that wrestling builds over a lifetime. What Red Hawk brings is everything needed to complete the picture — elite striking through their world-class kickboxing and MMA striking programs, and championship-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from some of the best grapplers in Arizona. Wrestling, striking, and BJJ — those three pillars are what build complete, dangerous fighters.

The athletes and coaches we raise funds for will train regularly at Red Hawk, using their facilities and coaching staff to develop and compete at the highest level.
